Tanya Herrold

Tanya was a loving wife and devoted mother, who served at Oregon Health and Science University, where she excelled as the Specialty Practice Leader for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. She led and supported a team of 150 nurses with remarkable dedication and skill, ensuring the highest standards of patient care. Her leadership extended beyond the hospital walls, as a community volunteer, most notably serving as a board member for the SGT Watts Veterans Foundation. In this role, Tanya led our social media and marketing efforts with creativity and commitment, helping to raise essential funds and support for U.S. veterans. Her diverse skill set, and unwavering dedication were instrumental in further empowering the brave individuals who have served our country, and her efforts have left an indelible mark on our foundation and the veteran community.

Tanya's legacy is one of compassion, leadership, and an unyielding commitment to service. Her work with the SGT Watts Veterans Foundation was driven by a deep respect and admiration for those who serve, and her contributions have significantly advanced our mission. As we mourn her loss, we also celebrate her remarkable life and the positive impact she had on so many.
