Quilting
Our vision began in January 2024. Our first quilt was received on March 25, 2024, with more following shortly after. We have now grown to 18 quilters who have brought many smiles to our veterans’ faces, warmed their hearts, and reminded them that they have not been forgotten. They have been affectionately called The Quilting Angels.
As of December 31, 2025, we have made a total of 122 quilts and 10 wall hangings. After approximately 920yds of fabric and hundreds of hours of dedication, our compassionate angels have provided comfort to the following:
- Lebanon Veterans Home ~ 25 Wheelchair quilts
- The Dalles Veterans Home ~ 8 Twin-size quilts, 40 Throw-size quilts and 10 wall hangings
- 15 quilts have warmed the hearts of veterans from Vets2Vets in Newberg, veterans on Hospice, and a few other veterans who have never been recognized for their service.
Our supply of quilts is always in need of replenishment. We welcome anyone who would like to become one of our Quilting Angels to lift the hearts of our veterans by bringing them hope and comfort so they never feel left behind.
